Eagles’ A.J. Brown Exits Early with Knee Injury in Win Over Jaguars
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown left during Sunday's 28-23 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars after sustaining a knee injury.
Brown initially returned to the field with his teammates following halftime but went back to the locker room before the third quarter began. Head coach Nick Sirianni, when questioned by 94 WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks, stated that he had no updates on Brown's condition after the game.
Before his exit, Brown managed to catch two of his four targets for a total of 36 yards. This marks another setback in a season that has already seen him sidelined for three games due to a hamstring injury, which he suffered before the Eagles' Week 2 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Entering Week 9, Brown had been a primary offensive contributor for Philadelphia, leading the team with 408 receiving yards, three touchdowns, and 21 receptions.
Running back Saquon Barkley took charge on Sunday, posting an impressive 199 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns, propelling the Eagles to a 6-2 record on the season.
