Jazz Sign Patty Mills to 1-Year, $3.3 Million Guaranteed Deal
The Utah Jazz have signed veteran point guard Patty Mills to a one-year, $3.3 million guaranteed contract, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
At 36 years old, Mills is preparing for his 16th NBA season. This will be his sixth team, having previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and Miami Heat.
Last season, Mills recorded his lowest scoring average since his rookie year, contributing four points per game on 35.1% shooting over 32 games with the Hawks and Heat.
Throughout his career, Mills has averaged 8.8 points per game and has a career three-point shooting percentage of 38.6%.
In addition to his NBA career, Mills has been a key player for Australia on the international stage. He averaged 16.5 points per game with the Boomers during their quarterfinal run at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
