The have secured an agreement to re-sign Kyle Lowry to a one-year contract, as confirmed by his agent to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday.

Lowry, an 18-year NBA veteran, joined the 76ers midway through last season after being acquired by the Charlotte Hornets from the Miami Heat and subsequently waived.

During his tenure with the 76ers, the 38-year-old averaged eight points per game, contributed 4.6 assists, and maintained a 40.4% success rate from beyond the arc. He started all six of the team's playoff games.

Lowry, who previously made six All-Star appearances with the Toronto Raptors and won the 2019 NBA championship with them, brings significant experience to Philadelphia.
