Stephen Curry Eyes PGA Tour Champions After NBA Career
Stephen Curry, the star guard for the Golden State Warriors, has revealed an ambitious goal for his post-basketball life: joining the PGA Tour Champions.
In a recent interview with Golf Digest's Max Adler, Curry expressed his desire to compete in the men's professional senior golf circuit, which is open to players aged 50 and over.
"I don't know what the path is," Curry stated. "All I know is, when I'm done with basketball, I'm going to reasonably invest as much into my golf as I can to see how good I can get, and where that puts me 14 years from now, we'll see."
Curry's passion for golf started when he was 10 years old. Over the years, he has participated in numerous celebrity golf tournaments, including The Match series. In 2023, Curry made headlines by winning the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Nevada, marking the first time an active athlete has claimed the title since 2000.
At 36, Curry has just wrapped up his 15th NBA season and is gearing up for his Olympic debut with USA Basketball at the 2024 Paris Games.
