The Pacers held a solid 98-90 lead with under six minutes remaining, but the Celtics mounted an impressive comeback, outscoring Indiana 15-4 down the stretch. Derrick White's crucial three-pointer in the final minute broke the deadlock and sealed the victory for Boston, as Indiana failed to score in the remaining 3:32 of the game.
Throughout the series, the Celtics displayed resilience, winning Game 1 in overtime with a remarkable three-pointer by Jaylen Brown and staging an 18-point comeback in Game 3.
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led the charge for the Celtics in Game 4, contributing 29 and 26 points, respectively. Derrick White delivered an exceptional performance with 16 points, four assists, four rebounds, five steals, and three blocks.
Following his pivotal contributions, Jaylen Brown was honored with the Larry Bird Trophy as the MVP of the Eastern Conference finals.
Despite missing Tyrese Haliburton due to a hamstring injury, Andrew Nembhard continued to lead the Pacers' efforts with 24 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists.
