Knicks' Brunson Suffers Broken Hand in Game 7 Defeat to Pacers
New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson sustained a broken left hand during the second half of their 130-109 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 7, as announced by the team.
Brunson concluded the game with 17 points, shooting 6-of-17 from the field. The Pacers had established a double-digit lead at the time of his exit.
Throughout the postseason, the 27-year-old averaged 33.7 points over 12 appearances with the Knicks, reaching the 40-point mark in five games.
The Knicks were already grappling with a series of injuries, with forward OG Anunoby exiting Game 7 after just four minutes due to a hamstring issue that had sidelined him for the previous four contests.
Additionally, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and Bojan Bogdanovic had been declared out for the remainder of the playoffs. Guard Josh Hart is also contending with an abdominal injury sustained during Game 6 of this series.
