Lewandowski Joins Ronaldo and Messi in Elite 100 UCL Goals Club

Robert Lewandowski has made history by becoming only the third player to score 100 career goals in the UEFA Champions League. The Polish striker reached the milestone with two goals in Barcelona's 3-0 victory over Brest on Tuesday, scoring an early penalty and adding another in the dying moments of the match.

Lewandowski now joins Cristiano Ronaldo (141 goals) and Lionel Messi (129 goals) as the only players to reach this impressive feat. With 101 goals to his name, Lewandowski continues to shine in Europe's premier club competition. He also leads this season's Champions League scoring chart with seven goals in five matches.

At 36 years old, Lewandowski is showing no signs of slowing down. In addition to his Champions League exploits, he's the current top scorer in La Liga with 15 goals, more than doubling the tally of his nearest competitor.

While the majority of Lewandowski's UCL goals came during his time at Bayern Munich, he continues to thrive at Barcelona under coach Xavi. With his goal-scoring form, he is steadily closing the gap on Messi in the all-time UCL rankings.

Lewandowski's lone Champions League title came in 2020 with Bayern Munich, but he also reached the final with Borussia Dortmund in 2013.
