Scotland's Aaron Hickey Faces Uncertain Euro 2024 Prospects, Says Brentford Manager
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has expressed doubts about Scotland defender Aaron Hickey's chances of recovering from injury in time for Euro 2024.
The 21-year-old full-back has been sidelined since October due to a hamstring injury sustained while playing for Brentford against Chelsea.
Hickey, who has earned 14 caps for Scotland, played a significant role in the team's qualifying campaign. Scotland is set to kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Germany on 14 June, followed by matches against Switzerland and Hungary.
Frank confirmed that Hickey is unlikely to feature for Brentford for the remainder of the season, stating, "No, we're not going to see him this season."
Regarding Hickey's Euro 2024 participation, Frank remarked, "I'm not the manager of Scotland, but I don't think it is positive."
