Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Monitoring Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens

According to a report from Bild, Premier League clubs Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham have all recently dispatched scouts to observe Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.

Gittens, 20, has seen more playing time this season after overcoming a challenging period of injuries under former head coach Edin Terzic. Now, under the guidance of current coach Nuri Sahin, Gittens has broken into the starting lineup. His progress includes a focus on improving his effectiveness, decision-making, and finishing during training sessions.

The young winger has drawn comparisons to Jadon Sancho, who also joined Dortmund from Manchester City, as Gittens did. Despite injury setbacks, Dortmund remain hopeful that Gittens can eventually reach a similar level of performance as his fellow Englishman.

Dortmund also have high hopes for another winger, Julien Duranville. The 18-year-old, who transferred from Anderlecht in 2023, has also struggled with injuries. His main contribution thus far has been a brief appearance during Dortmund's dramatic 2-2 draw with Mainz at the end of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season, a result that ultimately cost Dortmund the league title.
