Haaland’s 100 Goals in 105 Matches: A Historic Performance Against Arsenal

Erling Haaland netted his 100th goal for Manchester City in his 105th appearance during their Premier League match against Arsenal on Sunday, equaling Cristiano Ronaldo's record as the fastest player to reach 100 goals for a single club in the 21st century.

Haaland opened the scoring after receiving a precise pass from Savinho and slotting the ball past Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. This goal brought his season total to 10 goals in five Premier League matches.

However, the 1-0 advantage was short-lived. Arsenal's Riccardo Calafiori, making his first full Premier League start, equalized in the 22nd minute with a powerful left-footed strike.

Arsenal then took a 2-1 lead when Gabriel Magalhaes found the net. But soon after, Leandro Trossard was shown a second yellow card, leaving Arsenal with ten men. In stoppage time, Manchester City substitute John Stones scored in the 98th minute, ending the match in a 2-2 draw.
