Endrick and Mbappe Shine in Real Madrid's 3-1 Win Against Stuttgart
Endrick made history as Real Madrid's youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer in a 3-1 home victory over Stuttgart, with Kylian Mbappe also on the scoresheet.
At 18 years and 58 days old, the Brazilian forward broke the record held by Raul, who had set the mark in 1995 by scoring against Ferencvaros at 18 years and 113 days. Endrick, who joined Madrid from Palmeiras this summer, had already become the youngest player to score on his La Liga debut for the club in the 21st century, netting against Real Valladolid after coming off the bench.
In the Champions League clash at the Santiago Bernabeu, Endrick came on in the 80th minute, replacing Jude Bellingham, and secured the victory with a late goal in stoppage time.
Mbappe, making his debut in Europe's top competition for Real Madrid, opened the scoring 20 seconds into the second half. Aurelien Tchouameni's pass found Rodrygo, who set up Mbappe for an easy finish.
Stuttgart responded in the 68th minute when Deniz Undav headed in a well-deserved equalizer. However, Real Madrid regained the lead in the 83rd minute through Antonio Rudiger's header from a set-piece.
Bellingham, back in action after missing four games due to a calf injury, played 80 minutes before being substituted. Stuttgart, under coach Sebastian Hoeness, had earlier missed key chances to take the lead. Enzo Millot pulled a shot wide in the 10th minute, and Thibaut Courtois made a critical save to deny Angelo Stiller.
Undav also saw a long-range effort deflect off Dani Carvajal's leg and hit the top of the crossbar. Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr came close to scoring in the 58th minute when his powerful strike rattled the bar.
Real Madrid's next match will be against Lille, while Stuttgart will host Sparta Prague.
