Man Utd in Talks with Chelsea for Sterling Transfer

Manchester United have initiated preliminary discussions with Chelsea regarding a potential transfer of Raheem Sterling. The 29-year-old forward has been training separately from the first-team squad after Chelsea's manager, Enzo Maresca, informed him that he would face limited playing time at the club.

While no agreement has been finalized, the talks reflect United sporting director Dan Ashworth's efforts to leverage Sterling's situation at Stamford Bridge to benefit his club. United sources emphasize that any potential deal would be structured on their terms. Additionally, winger Jadon Sancho, who is also available, is reported to have interest from Chelsea.

Juventus have shown interest in Sancho but are hesitant to meet United's conditions for a loan deal, which includes an obligation to buy and covering the full wage of the 24-year-old player.

Sterling, with 82 caps for England, is known to have been a Manchester United supporter from a young age. He spent a decade in the North West, first at Liverpool and then at Manchester City, where he secured 10 major trophies before transferring to Chelsea for £50 million two years ago.
