Fulham Make £20m Bid for Manchester United's Scott McTominay

Manchester United has received a second bid from Fulham, reportedly valued at £20 million, for midfielder Scott McTominay. While it is expected that United will reject this offer, the future of the Scotland international remains uncertain following West Ham's attempt to sign him last summer.

The Old Trafford club is actively seeking to raise funds to acquire new players, especially in light of injuries to defender Leny Yoro, who is expected to be sidelined for three months, and striker Rasmus Hojlund, which further complicates their situation.

McTominay, now 27, is entering the prime years of his career and is eager to secure a spot as a first-team regular. Last season, he made 32 appearances in the Premier League for United, although 14 of those were from the bench. Notably, he started in the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City at Wembley.

In a recent pre-season match against Real Betis in San Diego, McTominay played in the number 10 role. However, with Bruno Fernandes yet to rejoin the main training group after his participation in Euro 2024, Mason Mount aiming to maintain fitness, and Casemiro still at the club despite speculation about a potential move to the Saudi Pro-League, a deal for McTominay could still be on the table.
