West Ham Close in on Leeds Forward Summerville

West Ham United are nearing the completion of a deal for Leeds United forward Crysencio Summerville. The Premier League club has been actively pursuing several players this summer as technical director Tim Steidten aims to bolster Julen Lopetegui's squad.

Summerville, who was named the Championship Player of the Year last season, has become the main target for the London club. According to sources, negotiations are at an advanced stage, and personal terms with the 22-year-old are expected to be straightforward.

The Dutch winger enjoyed a prolific season, scoring 21 goals across all competitions, despite Leeds United's failure to secure promotion after losing to Southampton in the play-off final.
