Former Barcelona manager Xavi has issued a cautionary message to his successor, emphasizing the demanding nature of the role.

Initially contemplating departure in January, Xavi opted to prolong his stay at , announcing his decision in April, despite being under contract until 2025.

Addressing his successor, Xavi stated, "To the new manager, I tell you: 'You will suffer.' This is a very complicated place to be. This is a difficult job and you have to be patient."

Appointed in November 2021, Xavi secured La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup in his inaugural full season. However, Barcelona finished second in La Liga this season, trailing champions Real Madrid by 10 points.
