Erling Haaland, the formidable striker for Manchester City, secured the Premier League Golden Boot award for the second consecutive year.

The prolific Norwegian notched an impressive tally of 27 goals throughout the season, contributing significantly to Manchester City's remarkable achievement of clinching their fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Haaland had previously clinched the coveted award in his debut season with Manchester City, where he set a remarkable record of 36 goals in 35 appearances.

This season witnessed a tighter competition for the top scorer title, with multiple players contending closely for the crown.

Among them was Chelsea's forward, Cole Palmer, who posed a considerable threat after netting nine goals in four remarkable performances at the onset of April.

However, Haaland reaffirmed his dominance in the final stretch of the season, showcasing an exceptional goal-scoring spree. Notably, he bagged nine goals in six games, including an impressive four-goal haul against Luton Town earlier in the month.

With this achievement, Haaland becomes the first player since Harry Kane in 2017 to clinch the Golden Boot award in consecutive seasons.
